How to reupholster a desk chair

Another DIY project to help update and fix my house! My grandmother gave me a desk chair as a present before I went off to college. It suited me then, and now it is an eye sore in my house. Tonight’s project was to reupholster that old chair with some new fabric.

¾ yard of fabric (mine was hanging out in my drawer)

1 desk chair- again mine was hanging around my house

A staple gun

A few dozen staples

Allen wrench

It took a few minutes to disassemble the chair, just a few screws on the back and base of the chair and then another 45-minute or so to meticulously staple the new fabric back on the frame of the chair. The corners took a bit of time but other than that, the project took less than an hour in total. And when I was done, I had a brand new chair fitting for the guest room in my house.
